Transport by Steve Gooch is set on board a female convict ship on its
voyage to Australia in 1807. This play shows us the relationships which
develop between the women as they struggle to survive the hardships of six
months at sea and the increasing exploitation of their captivity by the
men in positions of power on the ship.
