But listen, I shall say this only once! This year we were pleased to present 'Allo, 'allo, by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, which Liz Taylor directed, and the cast performed with enormous enthusiasm.

The audiences laughed and laughed at Rene's troubles: two hidden British airmen, a stolen Van Klomp masterpiece, fierce rivalry between Yvette and Mimi for his affections, and Edith's singing!

Cafe ReneAs always, the play was accompanied by our traditional ploughman's supper and the hall was decorated to appear as an extension of Café René, and the audience became patrons of the establishment, with some of the action, notably Edith's cabaret taking place amongst them!
